February is here, and love is definitely in the air! The Speech Room Fairy is at it again, preparing a Valentine’s Day treat for all of her Speech Room sweethearts.
Using colored cardstock, cut out several heart shapes to create a small “stepping stone” path to the fairy’s front door:
You could even stick a heart onto the door as a decoration as shown below:
Add tiny heart garland around the frame to get a bit more festive. You can create this yourself – this is how the Speech Room Fairy made hers:
As soon as she had finished sewing, she couldn’t wait to decorate her door with them:
She made a ‘lovely’ job of these – but if your fairy is too busy to make a garland you may be able to buy something that will work appropriately and inexpensively at your local dollar store.
Valentine’s Day is also a time for showing your appreciation to friends and family. You can have your students craft tiny Valentine’s cards for their small friend while taking time to reflect on all that she’s helped them with this year. There are so many activities that your fairy can get involoved in – for more fairy fun check out my Speech Room Fairy Bundle on TPT:

And as promised the Speech Room Fairy will leave the children a small treat in return. This time of year, you can find all sorts of tiny colorful treats that a fairy could tote….Fruit Loops, Cheerios, Valentine colored M&Ms, or my favorite (keeping in line with the “Speechy” spirit!) conversation candy hearts.
Simply arrange the small treats in a heart shape or to spell out a small note of praise…this is sure to smile on your students’ faces!
Happy Valentines to you all from the Speech Room Fairy!
How adorably “sweet” is this decor. I love it!
This is fabulous! I will be putting this all together this weekend! Thank you for such wonderful ideas!
