Dressing up a speech room desk!

We are thrilled to have Maureen from Speech Bubble SLP over to share her fab Speech Room Desk makeover with us – let’s hear from her how she completed this fab task….

…Aside from our speech tables, the next place we spend the most time at work is at our desks.  I don’t know about you, but sometimes that laminated wood can get a little boring to look at.  So this year I decided to dress up my desk!

Contact paper and vinyl decals will be your new BFFs!  They are removable and won’t damage the surface they are on. There are tons of patterned contact paper options out there now.  You can find wall decals just about everywhere now too.  I recommend you pick the decal you like first then find a contact paper that goes with it.

I got basic white contact paper from Home Depot for $7.  The teal desk caddy I got from Staples last year, it’s part of the Martha Stewart collection.

This is the finished result! This will be a lot more cheery to look at while writing reports this year 🙂 Thanks to Speech Room Style for letting me share this with you!  For more tips, tricks, and info stop by my blog The Speech Bubble SLP.
